Faith in God

Today at like2:00pm, me and my brothers had a bible study with our dad for like an hour and a half. Time aside, we talked about serving God not because we have to, but because we want to, to do things for god like he did things for us. He gave his son to die to save us from sin, so can't we do the really easy stuff like spreading his word and help people in his name? We also reviewed Ephesians 2:8-9, which says: "8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."  This makes me think of Martin Luther, and how he discovered that he didn't have to be a monk, or work himself to death to show how sorry he was, to be accepted by God. Then at 3:30, we went to church, where the pastor talked about meekness, how Jesus drove the merchants out of the temple, and a story called 'The ant and the Contact lens'. It's a real story where a lady named Brenda is invited mountain climbing, but while she's climbing, she loses her contact lens, and fears of falling because she can't see well, and prays to God for his assistance. On the way down, she finds an ant, carrying her contact lens. When she got home, she told her father about it, and since he's a cartoonist, he drew this picture:
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me," Phil. 4:13. Sayonara for now.
